DANZA GLAD TO BE A ‘PAL’ FOR KIDS

-

Things ain’t like they used to be, told us at Cantor Fitzgerald’s Charity Day, where he bemoaned a lack of good role models for kids.

“When we were kids, everywhere you looked there were good role models. Now it’s very hard to find,” said Danza, by way of explaining why he was there in support of the Police Athletic League.

“There’s 500 TV shows on the air – you show me one that tells a kid to play by the rules. The New York Times two weeks ago ran two articles about rap artists, both of them, you don’t want your kids watching this. One of them is on the lam for murder! But his tape went viral. So this is what we’re telling the kids is good.” Danza told us he’s working on a PAL acting program. “When you teach a kid how to act you teach a kid how to act,” he quipped.
