-

OAKLAND — The Raiders led the Jets by 22 points with 12:49 remaining in the fourth quarter Sunday. But you didn’t need to look up at the scoreboard to know the game was a blowout. That’s because on the sideline, as both teams waited through yet another TV timeout for the impending Oakland kickoff, Marshawn Lynch was showing off dance

CThe offensive line played considerably better than last week, especially in the running game. The Jets finished with a commendable 126 yards on the ground. Todd Bowles’ unit surrendered 45 points, the most in the coach’s three-year tenure in New York.

Kalif Raymond’s muffed punt at the end of the first half changed the game. moves that would put Usher to shame. As rap music blared through the stadium, Lynch rocked his head emphatically, his dreadlocks flying in every direction. He waved his hands in the air, pointed to the sky, shimmied his shoulders, and hopped from one foot to the other, basking in the raucous and enthusiastic cheers from his hometown crowd.

The display angered some in the Jets’ locker room after the 45-20 loss.

“That irks my ever-living nerves,” linebacker Jordan Jenkins said. “I was out on the field on kickoff return, and I saw that happen, and it just was infuriating. I wanted them to kick the ball short so we could go out and get some more contact because that (ticks) me off. I’m an old-school guy. I don’t like when things like that happen. That was embarrassing, losing like that, and to have Marshawn dancing like that, a good player, but seeing that happen, that’s infuriating for the whole team. It should infuriate everybody.”
