Marshawn busting moves
Jenkins clarified that he didn’t think Lynch’s dancing was “unsportsmanlike.” He was more angered by how badly the Jets were losing.
Linebacker Darron Lee echoed Jenkins' feelings.
“It’s their house. They can do whatever they want in it,” Lee said. “But as a competitor, as a defender, I don’t like to see that type of stuff. It’s demoralizing, but we got to bow up and keep fighting.”
STILL CAN’T HACK IT
It’s been 507 days since the Jets drafted Christian Hackenberg in the second round, and he’s still not ready to dress for games.
Bryce Petty received the nod as the Jets’ backup quarterback Sunday against the Raiders, and he will remain No. 2 on the depth chart for the foreseeable future, Todd Bowles said. Hackenberg was not active for the game.
WINTERS IS COMING BACK
Right guard Brian Winters suffered a strained groin in the first half. He didn’t return. Winters said after the game that he doesn’t consider the injury to be serious and expects to be ready for next week.
