A POLICE car struck and injured a woman on a Bronx street Wednesday night, cops said.

The patrol car hit the 54-year-old pedestrian on the corner of E. 178th St. and Washington Ave. in Mt. Eden just after 7 p.m.

Medics took her to St. Barnabas Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The crash took place just hours after a Staten Island man said his 5-year-old son was struck by a cop car on Staten Island.

Davon Burrus, 29, said his son Joshua was struck by a police vehicle on Castleton Ave. by West. St. in West Brighton.

“He’s all right, thank God,” Burrus said. “He’s at the hospital now. He’s not hurt bad.”

An NYPD spokesman would not provide information about the crash Wednesday night.
