Ethics leader on leave
THE LONGTIME leader of good-government group Citizens Union, Dick Dadey, is taking a leave of absence, the group’s chair said Wednesday.
“Our longtime executive director, Dick Dadey, has gone on a leave of absence for personal reasons,” Randy Mastro said in a statement.
The nonpartisan group, which lobbies for election and ethics reforms, will be led “in the interim” by board members Rick Schaffer and Alan Rothstein, Mastro said. Schaffer will be interim executive director of of the Citizens Union Foundation, while Rothstein will lead Citizens Union.
