NORTH KOREA warned it could test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean in response to President Trump’s threat to “totally destroy” the rogue nation.

Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho’s comments on Thursday came after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said that “dotard” Trump will “pay dearly” for his speech before the United Nations General Assembly.

“The mentally deranged behavior of the U.S. President openly expressing on the UN arena, the unethical will to ‘totally destroy’ a sovereign state . . . makes even those with normal thinking faculty think about discretion and composure,” Kim said in a rare statement.

Trump also slapped Pyongyang with yet another economic blow — signing an order targeting those doing business with North Korea.

The volley is the latest launch in a back-and-forth of words over the country’s nuclear missile program.

Kim also peppered the President with other personal insults, saying he was “a rogue and a gangster fond of playing with fire.” Trump had called Kim “Rocket Man” in a speech to the UN on Tuesday.
