“Dear Evan Hansen” star (photo) feasted his eyes on
show “Waitress” on Thursday night. There was a “Waitress Cast Album Karaoke” night after the performance, where audience members were invited on stage to sing one minute of a song from the show with help from the band. Bareilles hosted the event, but Tony winner Platt stayed in his seat. He was probably saving his voice for “Hansen” which he’s set to depart on Nov. 19.
