Following a 54-28 season and first-place finish in the Atlantic Division under head coach Mike Woodson, Anthony and the Knicks defeated Boston in the first round of the playoffs before falling to the Pacers in the Eastern Conference semis in six games. Anthony averaged 28.8 points per game in the 2012-13 playoffs.

All-Star appearances. Anthony made the All-Star team every full season in a Knick uniform and was a starter all but once. This past season, he finished third in the media vote and was named as a reserve to replace Kevin Love.
