BerlinRosen co-founder and principal Jonathan Rosen and AKPD partner John Del Cecato were among those dubbed “agents of the city” by de Blasio when rejecting media requests for emails between City Hall and the two.

Curran spokesman Philip Shulman said that “in absolutely no way, shape or form” is de Blasio helping with the campaign despite the hiring of some of his best-known consultants.

Martins campaign spokeswoman Mollie Fullington accused Curran, who has promised to clean up Nassau County corruption, of bringing “Bill de Blasio’s corrupt ‘agents of the city’ into Nassau County,’ ” said Martins spokeswoman Mollie Fullington.

“She’s a hypocrite and has no credibility when it comes to fighting corruption or protecting Nassau property taxpayers,” Fullington said.

She also said the use of de Blasio’s campaign consultants is further proof of Curran’s ties to the New York City Democrats and their “radical” agenda.

Shulman shot back by seeking to tie Martins to disgraced former state Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos, the Nassau County Republican who was convicted on federal corruption charges.

“This is a desperate attempt by a failing campaign that wants to turn the attention away from their own candidate’s record,” Shulman said.

“Nothing Jack Martins says can distract from the fact he was Dean Skelos’ most loyal foot soldier in Albany’s corruption caucus,” Shulman said.

“Martins did everything he could to keep Skelos in power after he was arrested, including blocking a motion that would have removed him and signing a letter supporting him.”
