Stop fumbling & aid P.R.: gov

GOV. CUOMO on Monday urged President Trump to stop tweeting about the NFL and keep his eye on the ball with storm-ravaged Puerto Rico. “We need the federal government to act,” Cuomo (below) said at a gathering of the Business Council of New York State. “All the hubbub about NFL football players — focus on Puerto Rico, focus on priorities.” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California called on Trump to deploy military resources to help Puerto Rico with search-and-rescue operations and recovery efforts. Since Friday, Trump has tweeted 16 times — including five times Monday morning alone — about the NFL after complaining about players protesting the national anthem. He has not tweeted once about the U.S. territory in that time. House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has said Congress will work with Trump’s administration to make sure Puerto Rico gets the relief package it needs. THE TRUMP administration’s private email use, now the subject of a congressional investigation, is a family affair.

Ivanka Trump used a private email for White House work, according to a report the day after her husband Jared Kushner was revealed to be using his own account for official business.

She was using the account to talk about “women’s entrepreneurship” with other federal employees on Feb. 28, before she officially joined her father’s administration in March, according to an email published by American Oversight.

American Oversight director Austin Evers told Newsweek it shows “there’s one rule for the Trump family and another for everyone else.”

Kushner created his account in December and used it after starting work in the White House, Politico reported.
