Las Vegas - You wanna talk bad beats. Lemme whine a little. Had the Lions on Sunday at +3 and they scored what looked like the game winning TD with a few seconds left. UH UH. Woulda given me two straight weeks at 4-1 in the MILLION dollar WestGate SuperContest. Of course they reviewed the play, and told us that Golden Tate’s knee was down inches before the end zone. NO TD, TEN SECOND clock runoff. As Michael Kay, the Yankees announcer would say, SEE YA!

Thought we were golden, but Golden couldn’t make the end zone. As we said, EVERY beat is a bad beat, but this one had a little extra spicy Picante salsa on it. TOUGH to swallow!

THX for letting me vent. Now the good news. Another winning week here at Ecks & Bacon. Posted a +$95 to the bank, and the grind continues.
