$41M Sofia stays atop actress list

SOFIA VERGARA is the modern-day Queen of TV.

The actress, who stars on “Modern Family,” is the highest-paid television actress for a sixth straight year, according to Forbes.

The 45-year-old star earned that title once again by taking home $41.5 million pretax between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017.

That’s over $15 million more than the second-highest paid actress, “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco, who earned $26 million over that span.

Only about one-fourth of Vergara’s income comes from her sitcom, however. More than half her earning come from endorsements.

Forbes released its highest-paid film actors and actresses last month. Mark Wahlberg led male stars with $68 million in earnings, while Emma Stone led all female movie stars at $26 million.
