Bo’s a go for TV debate

Bo Dietl, the former cop and private eye running an uphill independent bid for mayor, has been invited to participate in the first televised general election debate of the race, he said Wednesday.

“It’s official! I’ll be debating DeBlasio on October 10. BUCKLE UP!” he tweeted. In addition to the mayor, an incumbent Democrat, Dietl will be on stage with Republican challenger Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis.
