THE BEAUTIFUL apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Christie Brinkley’s daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, is following in her mom’s sandy footprints as a model for Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue.
Sailor, 19, will appear in next year’s edition of the magazine as a member of the 2018 rookie class.
She becomes the first model in the history of the swimsuit issue whose mother was also featured in the magazine.
Christie Brinkley, 63, — a three-time cover model (below in 1979) — was featured in eight swimsuit editions between 1975 and 2004.
