Russia tied to divisive posts
THE RUSSIAN government has been linked to social media accounts created to stoke racial tensions in the U.S. during the presidential election, according to a report Thursday.
The online campaign, which used Twitter and Facebook accounts under the name “Blacktivists,” was part of a broader effort to sow chaos in the U.S., CNN reported on Thursday.
The report emerged hours after Twitter officials told congressional investigators they found around 200 accounts that may be linked to Moscow.
Last week, Facebook announced it would turn over more than 3,000 Russia-linked ads to Congress after it took down about 470 fake activist accounts that posted inflammatory content. IT WAS THE Board of Elections that gave Jared Kushner his sex change.
Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, did in fact list himself as a male in his New York voter registration — despite his being listed as female on a city elections database.
Kushner’s supposed registration as a woman, which made headlines Wednesday, was the result of a data entry error, records show. The Board of Elections corrected it after it became public.
Wired first reported that Kushner was registered as a woman on his publicly accessible New York State voter information.
Kushner’s original registration form, however, shows that he checked the box for “male.”
