Juror faints at horrific photo
A JUROR PASSED out Thursday at the sight of a gruesome photo in the murder trial of a Bronx woman charged with killing her pregnant pal and carving out her baby.
The trial, in Bronx Supreme Court, came to a halt during the graphic testimony of medical examiner Declan Mcguone.
The forensic pathologist stood and pointed to an enlarged image of the Angelikque Sutton’s detached uterus and umbilical cord on a big-screen TV, just feet from the jury box.
Justice Margaret Clancy soon noticed Juror No. 7, a middle-aged woman, was out cold and slumped in her seat and cleared the courtroom.
Mcguone testified that Sutton, 22 victim died from multiple stab wounds and bled out before her baby was removed.
Ashleigh Wade, 23, is accused of murdering Sutton on Nov. 20, 2015 at her Monticello Ave. apartment in Wakefield. The baby, Jenasis, miraculously survived the ordeal.
Wade tried to pass off the infant as her own before she was arrested, authorities said.
