Miranda sings for Puerto Rico

- Joe Dziemianowicz

“HAMILTON” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has written a musical “love letter” to raise money for hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico.

The song is set to be released Oct. 6 and features an array of celebrity artists.

Details on who’s collaborating are under wraps, but Miranda told CNN that he “called every Puerto Rican I know” to join in.

And they jumped at the chance. “To every artist, I’ve said, ‘Can you help out on this song?’ And they said yes,” he said.

Miranda, 37, whose family has deep roots in Puerto Rico, was inspired to write the song in the middle of the night.

“I had the idea at 3 in the morning . . . The initial demo was me singing in a bathroom,” he said.
