B’klyn pair busted for kidnap attempt
A BROOKLYN COUPLE was busted for trying to kidnap a teenager by dragging her into their car, police said Friday.
Raymond Ortiz, 60, and Delgria Lynch, 33, were caught on camera trying to chat up the 15-year-old girl on 19th St. near Seventh Ave. in Sunset Park around 2:40 p.m. Sept. 22, according to cops.
Ortiz, who was driving, got out of the gray BMW and tried to wave the girl into an open passenger-side door, according to surveillance video released by cops.
Lynch — his female partner in crime — can be seen smoking a cigarette in the front seat. Ortiz eventually grabbed the girl’s arm and tried to pull her inside the vehicle but she was able to break free, police said.
Ortiz, of Boerum Hill, and Lynch, who lives in Gravesend, are both charged with attempted kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment, according to authorities. A MAN WAS fatally shot after a fight at a Bronx restaurant spilled out into the street Friday, police said.
Lorenzo Daley, 29, was shot once in the neck outside Simply Seafood on White Plains Rd. near Allerton Ave. in Allerton around 7:30 p.m., according to cops.
Medics rushed Daley, who lived in nearby Mount Vernon, to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died, authorities said. A person was taken into custody at the scene but not immediately charged, police said.
