Hunt for goons in street slay

TWO BRUTES beat a 40-year-old man to death on a Bronx sidewalk early Saturday, police said.

Cops found victim Pedro Adorno sprawled out on the sidewalk on Taylor Ave. near Westchester Ave. in Parkchester about 4:50 a.m.

Rescuers first thought he had suffered a heart attack, but soon realized he had a massive head injury, police sources said.

Medics rushed him to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died.

Detectives canvassing the area found surveillance footage showing two men beating Adorno.

The men stormed up to Adorno on the street and repeatedly punched and kicked him in the face and head, the video shows. No arrests have been made. The suspects are described as Hispanic and in their early to mid-30s. One was wearing a green shirt with camouflage sleeves and blue jeans. The other was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
