3. BENCH ODELL FOR THE FIRST QUARTER

Benching Beckham for a quarter wouldn’t improve the Giants’ chances of winning but would demonstrate that an immature wide receiver doesn’t run this franchise – ownership and the head coach do. Beckham’s refusal to apologize for his disgusting Week 3 TD celebration was a slap in the face to co-owner John Mara and cannot be tolerated. If McAdoo wants his team to be disciplined, he can’t let Beckham do whatever he wants and continue to enable his behavior. Sadly, McAdoo needs his arm twisted to even softly reprimand Beckham and desperately needs a win, so the chances he benches Beckham to make a point are slim-to-none.
