Police probing death of toddler
COPS ARE investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy in Brooklyn who lost consciousness after suffering a fever early Thursday.
The panicked parents of Bryson Figueroa called 911 after the child was found unresponsive inside their Vernon Ave. home near Marcus Garvey Blvd. in BedfordStuyvesant about 3:20 a.m.
Medics rushed him to Woodhull Hospital, but doctors couldn’t save the tot.
Bryson’s mother told police that her son had a fever on Wednesday night.
She gave him medicine before putting him to bed, but when she checked on him a few hours later, he was unconscious.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how the child died, police said.
