Mika: I’ll nix book deal if he isn’t axed
“MORNING JOE” co-host Mika Brzezinski says she’d rather turn the page than write a book for accused serial sexual harasser Harvey Weinstein. And she called on others in the entertainment world to turn their backs on Weinstein and his companies until he is fired or quits. “Authors, actors, and moviemakers should not work for any Weinstein company until he resigns,” she tweeted Saturday. “Not a close call.” Brzezinski (photo), who signed a three-book deal in July with a Weinstein company, declared she would not honor her contract. “I can’t go forward with those books unless Harvey resigns.”
