FAMILY FIRST.

President Trump’s first wife claimed there is “absolutely no problem” between her and Melania Trump, despite calling herself the First Lady in a more recent interview.

“I sent Melania the text, that the last thing I would like to do is say something bad about you, you know because you are family. And I don’t say anything bad or anything back to the family member,” Ivana Trump said in an interview on Fox News, which aired Tuesday.

Ivana, who has recently been publicizing her new memoir, filmed the “Fox and Friends” interview prior to one with “Good Morning America,” in which she said she spoke with President Trump at least every two weeks. She added that she didn’t utilize her direct line to him in an effort to avoid Melania.

“I (don’t) really want to call him there, because Melania is there,” Ivana said in the more recent interview. “And I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I’m basically first Trump wife, okay? I’m first lady.”

Melania responded to Ivana’s comment Monday, calling them “attention seeking and self-serving noise.”

When asked by Fox whether she thinks she should actually be First Lady, Ivana Trump responded: “Not at all.” “I’m glad that Melania is there and I’m here,” she said.
