Milton badly

-

Manhattan County Clerk Milton Tingling snared a lifetime gig when he was appointed in 2015 — his predecessor served 45 years — but apparently, job security doesn’t mean common sense in the $193,000-a-year post. Last year, Tingling was sued in federal court for not making public court records immediately available to the public. Slapped by a federal judge, Tingling changed course to release the records pronto. Now the plaintiffs who had to sue have won lawyers’ fees of $335,000. Tingling ain’t paying. You are. Thanks for nothing, Milt.
