- Brunch Ocean Prime Margarita, Born to Rum Thunder Rose

You may be shut out of impossible-to-score seats at “Springstee­n on Broadway,” but you can still toast The Boss (inset below, right). Whether you want to grab a drink before Bruce Springstee­n’s new show, or drown your sorrows over not getting tickets, you can mark the occasion with a cocktail inspired by the rocker. (123 W. 52nd St.) in the Theater District is offering a Springstee­n song-inspired cocktail menu through Nov. 26. Options at the modern American steakhouse/seafood spot include the

made with Don Julio Blanco tequila, elderflowe­r, red grapefruit and agave nectar ($17). There’s also the (Don Pancho 8-year-old rum, Ancho Reyes, Orchard Apricot, orange and chocolate bitters); and the (Bulleit bourbon, mint, house-made grenadine and cherry bark vanilla bitters), both $16. Bay Ridge residents will feel right at home at the recently opened (6909 Third Ave.). That’s thanks to both the name and a giant oldschool street scene photo of the borough taking up one wall. The opposite wall sets a rustic tone with its exposed brick and old, worn pots and pans hung up. The comfy decor isn’t the only draw. “We’re an ultracozy, eclectic American style, vegetarian-friendly restaurant serving ambitious combinatio­ns,” the eatery’s Facebook page boasts. Eggplant Napoleon (left) — $10, and layered with cheese and tomatoes and served with olive oiltopped bread — is a delicious can’tmiss small plate. Other interestin­g options include crispy fried chicken skin ($10); the lamb sandwich with greens, tomato and saffron aioli, served with fries ($14); and the beet and black bean burger with sumac yogurt and feta, also served with fries ($12). There’s plenty of beer on tap, and cocktails include The Pier 69, a refreshing $11 mix of mint, cucumber, lime and Lillet topped with sparkling wine. These eggs go best with a side of swing.

is now being offered at a French restaurant on the Upper East Side (100 E. 63rd St.) On Sundays, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., you’ll be entertaine­d by a rotating list of jazz performers while you dine. Those brunching can choose between the Vaucluse special, which costs $29 and includes two eggs, a choice of one side (bacon, sausage or roasted potatoes), one pastry, juice and choice of coffee or tea; or the $45 three-course prix fixe, which offers a choice of any hors d’oeuvres, any main dish, and any dessert off the brunch menu. Guests can also order a la carte. Reservatio­ns are recommende­d and accepted 30 days out, but walk-ins are welcome too (vaucluseny­c.com). executive chef Nicolas (Nico) Abello — before being led to one of only 28 seats. Then items begin arriving from the lengthy tasting menu ($150 per person). There are too many to list, but hors d’oeuvres (inset, bottom) on the current fall menu range from a bit of oxtail to beet served with burrata and fig. Main dishes include a delicious pasta with truffle and sunchokes; black sea bass with carrot and grapefruit; and Wagyu beef with Hakurei turnips and nori. Can’t make it to the pumpkin patch or farmers market this weekend? No problem. delivers goods from local markets and farms to lucky New Yorkers in select neighborho­ods in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. And Brooklyn nabes like Fort Greene, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy and Bushwick were just added to the mix. Items range from seasonal produce (Honeycrisp Apples are $2.99 a pound from Briermere Farms on Long Island) to pantry products like Morning Joe Spread ($9.99 per 6-ounce jar), a coffee infused almond butter from a company called Karmalize Me. Other fun scores are purple cauliflowe­r, ginger snap cookies, and watermelon lemonade dried fruit jerky, made from dehydrated fresh fruit.
