IT’S MILLER TIME

-

Justin Pugh, who returned to left guard in last week’s loss to the Chargers, seemingly is moving back out to right tackle in place of Bobby Hart to face elite Broncos pass rusher Von Miller.

Pugh tipped his hand this week when asked about the perceived dysfunction in the locker room when he said: “I’m an O-lineman, so like, I’ve got to focus on blocking Von Miller this week, you know what I mean? I’m locking in on what I’ve gotta do.”

Meanwhile, GM Jerry Reese suddenly seems extremely motivated to address his offensive line after doing very little in the offseason to correct his team’s greatest weakness.

NFL Network reported that tackle Branden Albert was supposed to visit the Giants, and ESPN reported that a slew of players worked out for the Giants this week: offensive tackles Nick Becton, Victor Salako and Laurence Gibson; guards Orlando Franklin and Connor Bozick and linebacker Paul Dawson. Tackles Cyrus Kouandjio and Reid Fragel reportedly also made visits.
