Dow climbs over 23,000

THE BULLS keep running wild on Wall Street.

The Dow Jones index soared above 23,000 for the first time Wednesday after shares jumped 160 points.

IBM led the surge with its biggest one-day gain since 2009. Those gains accounted for much of the 30-company Dow’s record high.

The Dow, which began the year at 19,881, raced past 22,000 on Aug. 2.
