Victim of love: Hookup steals $2G of baubles

- Thomas Tracy

A ONE-NIGHT stand proved costly for a Lower East Side man after his nighttime fling ran off with his bling and a pricey camera, police said.

Cops released a photo Wednesday of the woman (inset) they believe robbed the 28-year-old man following a night of passion Aug. 4 inside his apartment, in the hope someone recognizes her.

The victim told police he met the woman at the Whiskey Traders Lounge in Hell’s Kitchen the night before.

The two continued their date at his place on Madison St. near Grand St. But after he nodded off about 4:10 a.m., she made off with his watch, camera and camera lens.

The stolen property was valued at $2,000, cops said.

The victim didn’t realize that the woman had disappeared with the valuables until noon that day, when he woke up and learned that his date — and his property — were gone.

Police said the sticky-fingered seductress is about 30 years old, 5-foot-4, and was last seen wearing a fitted green dress.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
