HALLOWEEN is approaching fast and there are so many TV specials, it’s scary. Use this guide to haunt your holiday viewing. Anjelica Huston plays a distraught mother whose young daughter goes missing in the English countryside in this reboot of a 1980 Disney flick starring Bette Davis. Two decades after the girl vanishes, a supernatural mystery unfolds. Saturday at 8 p.m. on Lifetime. The long-running animated show’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode — this is number 28 — sends up the 1973 terror classic “The Exorcist.” There’s also cannibalism. And a guest appearance by celebrity chef Mario Batali. That should be enough to make your head spin. Sunday at 8 p.m. on Fox. You can get your fill of the movie “Halloween” — and five sequels of the 1978 horror classic that anointed Jamie Lee Curtis as a scream queen — during this celebration of films made to scare you silly. Also on tap: “Child’s Play,” “Annabelle” and more. Monday through Oct. 31 at various times on AMC.
‘MICHAEL JACKSON’S HALLOWEEN’
This one-hour cartoon special features the music of the late King of Pop as it follows millennials Vincent and Victoria — voiced by Lucas Till and Kiersey Clemons — who find themselves in a spooky situation on Halloween. Jim Parsons, Alan Cumming, Christine Baranski and Lucy Liu lend voices as the story leads to an elaborate dance finale — and an animated appearance by Jackson. Friday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
