Racist graffiti in subway
COPS ARE INVESTIGATING racist graffiti found scrawled at several Manhattan subway stations, police sources said Friday.
Cops first found the vandalism Thursday in 1 train stations at 66th St., 72nd St. and 166th St.
Later that day, a tipster tweeted pictures of more hate-filled messages, including “Death to n-----s” at the 18th St. station on the 1 train line in Chelsea.
Cops found the additional graffiti on pillars on both ends of the Bronx-bound platform about 7 p.m. Thursday. Similar messages were found at the Columbus Ave. station.
Investigators believe the same person is responsible for all the sick screeds, sources said.
