AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed to death during a brawl outside a Brighton Beach 7-Eleven store that also left his cousin with a slashed face early Saturday, police said.

The cousins were shopping in the convenience store on Brighton Beach Ave. near Coney Island Ave. when they got into an argument with three men in the store about 2:30 a.m., witnesses told police.

The fight spilled outside and one of the brawlers whipped out a knife and jammed it into the teen’s stomach, police said. He then lunged at the victim’s 21-year-old cousin, slashing him in the face and thigh.

The stabber and his two pals ran off as police were called to the scene. Medics rushed both victims to Coney Island Hospital, where the younger man died of his wounds. His name was not immediately released.

His cousin’s wound was not life threatening.

Investigators used 7-Eleven coffee cups to mark potential evidence on the blood-spattered sidewalk.

No arrests had been made by Saturday evening.

The killing comes as the NYPD marks a 24% drop in homicides citywide for the year. As of Thursday, cops were investigating 217 killings compared to 284 during the same period last year.
