Corey pot bust amid week of painful reveals

- Rachel DeSantis

FORMER CHILD star Corey Feldman was charged with possession of marijuana, just days after the star made a passionate plea that his Hollywood abusers be held accountable.

The “Stand by Me” actor, 46, was headed to a gig Saturday in Monroe, La., with his band, Corey Feldman & the Angels, when the group’s RV was pulled over for speeding, according to reports.

Feldman (pictured) was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and released. The actor clarified the night’s events on Twitter Sunday, writing that the weed was medical marijuana belonging to one of his crew members.

“We were promised that these charges could all be dropped with proof of proper scripts,” he wrote.

The incident wrapped up a tumultuous week for Feldman, whose longstanding claims that he and late pal Corey Haim were sexually abused as child stars in the 1980s have resurfaced in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.

Feldman wrote a series of tweets Thursday claiming that while he won’t be coming forward with the name of his abuser out of concern for his family’s safety, he hopes others will.
