FIELD OF SCREAMS

-

The University of Miami and Syracuse chewed up the field at Hard Rock Stadium on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Jets and Dolphins players repeatedly lost their footing.

“It sucked,” linebacker Jordan Jenkins said. “Guys were slipping. I tweaked my ankle on one of them. Guys on both sides. It just sucks having Miami… playing there on Saturdays and us having to follow suit on that field. That wasn’t a good field. But I’m not going to blame (the loss) on that. You got to play through adversity.”

Said Jermaine Kearse: “They were pretty bad. But that’s no excuse.” HERALD/TNS MIAMI
