AN NYPD officer dropped to his knees Monday and proposed to his longtime girlfriend right after he graduated from the Police Academy.

Phillip Santana, 30, asked Jennifer Guzman, his girlfriend and mother of his child, to marry him (photo below) just after the ceremony at Madison Square Garden.

Santana pretended to be interviewed by WPIX11 about his new role as a cop when the reporter asked his and his fiancée’s names.
