COPS HAVE arrested a man in the 2011 kidnapping and murder of a 44-year-old Bronx resident whose body was found dumped near a cemetery, police said Wednesday.

A DNA sample taken from the victim’s bound body led police to Alexcy DeLos Angeles, 39, who is now charged with the killing.

Pedro Julio Sanchez Martinez was abducted Nov. 10, 2011, outside his home on Bronx Blvd. near E. 222nd St. in Wakefield just after 10:40 p.m.

Investigators said he was beaten and shoved into a car.

Less than two hours later, cops found Martinez dead outside St. Raymond’s Cemetery on Waterbury Ave. at Ellison Ave. His hands had been bound with cloth.

An NYPD forensic team recovered DNA from the cloth, which was ultimately linked to Angeles, police sources said.

Cops suspect Angeles learned that Martinez had come into some money and was trying to rob him. An autopsy revealed Martinez died of a heart attack while he was being beaten, the city medical examiner’s office said.

Cops grabbed Angeles on Monday after he allegedly broke into the basement of a Bronx restaurant. They quickly learned there was a warrant for his arrest in the Martinez killing.

Detectives charged Angeles with murder and kidnapping.
