Hate fiend hurls liquid in gal’s face

- BY ELLEN MOYNIHAN and THOMAS TRACY With John Annese

A HATE-FILLED creep threw a mystery liquid at a teenager’s face in Queens, and called her a “white b---h,” cops said Wednesday.

The quick-thinking 13-year-old managed to snap a cell phone photo of her attacker, and police released that picture (right) to the public on Wednesday, hoping someone will recognize him.

The teen told cops she had just stepped off the Q10 bus on Lefferts Blvd. and 101st Ave. in Richmond Hill when the suspect approached her from behind at about 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, police said. When the girl turned around, he tossed the liquid into her face, cops said.

“This is for you, white b----,” said the man, who is black.

The liquid — believed to be a beverage, not a noxious chemical — briefly stung her eyes, but did not cause a serious injury, a police source said.

She was treated at Jamaica Hospital and released, is back at school and is still taking the bus, said her aunt, Lisa Evangelista. “She’s back to her regular routine.”

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Her aunt praised the girl’s quick cell phone reflexes. “I don't know if that was me what I would do. She acted quickly to snap the photo,” she said.

The man was last seen running down Lefferts Blvd. toward 97th Ave., police said. He’s described as bald, and about 30 years old. He wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a red shirt underneath, royal blue pants and tan and brown boots. Cops are asking anyone with information to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
