Mogul Sumner defeats ex in $3.75M apt. war

- Stephen Rex Brown

THE ex-girlfriend of 94-year-old billionaire Sumner Redstone has no right to the fancy The Carlyle apartment he promised her upon his death, a judge ruled Wednesday.

Redstone signed an agreement in 2015 giving the posh $3.75 million apartment to Manuela Herzer, 54, once he died.

But the couple became estranged and the Viacom founder sued, seeking to void her claim on the E. 76th St. home.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Erika Edwards ruled the language of the contract was clear.

“Herzer has no ownership rights in the apartment,” Edwards wrote. “Redstone paid all the money to purchase and maintain the apartment.”

Herzer had argued unsuccessfully that Redstone was mentally fragile and being manipulated by his daughter, Shari Redstone. Herzer said Shari had bullied him into booting her from his will.

A call to Herzer’s attorney was not returned.
