But according to a source close to Ivana and the Trump kids, “None of her kids have read it.” The White House didn’t respond when asked if they had. Ivana says she speaks to The Donald “every couple of weeks, but isn’t sure if he’s read her book either. “I don’t know, we never talked about it,” she told our insider. Ivana told guests that Donald “didn’t know how to talk to the kids” until they finished college, which she first told us at a party in March.
The 68-year-old Czech native, who repeated to guests that the President once offered her an ambassadorship to the Czech Republic, said she now plans to head to Europe for six months to promote the book. The White House could use a break. Earlier this month, The Donald’s first wife seemed to rile the Donald’s current wife, by saying that because she married The Donald, first, she was by defintion “the first lady.” The real First Lady issued a press release calling that “selfserving noise.”
At the luncheon, Ivana ran into artist who painted dozens of the portraits that decorate Le Cirque, including one of Ivana. But he told her he’d declined to do The Donald 20 years ago.
