Dustin sorry for ’85 grope
DUSTIN HOFFMAN has become the latest actor accused of sexual harassment — by a former intern who says the star made lewd comments and groped her on a1985 movie set.
Author Anna Graham Hunter says Hoffman, by then an Oscarwinning A-list actor, was openly flirtatious from her very first day as a 17-year-old intern on the set of the TV movie “Death of a Salesman.”
Hunter says Hoffman then 47, asked for a foot massage, grabbed her buttocks and talked openly about sex. “One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, ‘I’ll have a hard-boiled egg . . . and a soft-boiled clitoris,’ ” Hunter wrote in The Hollywood Reporter.
Hoffman, 80, issued an apology Wednesday, saying such behavior is “not reflective” of his character.
