VICTIMS OF ‘RAT’
6 women call top producer Ratner sex perv
HOLLYWOOD FILM producer Brett Ratner is accused of sexual harassment and misconduct by six women — including actress Olivia Munn, according to a bombshell report.
Munn, along with actresses Katharine Towne, Jaime Ray Newman and Natasha Henstridge, detailed Ratner’s alleged inappropriate conduct toward them in a Los Angeles Times article Wednesday.
Munn described delivering food to Ratner’s trailer when she was starting out in L.A. back in 2004.
“He walked out . . . with his belly sticking out, no pants on, shrimp cocktail in one hand and he was furiously masturbating in the other,” Munn told The Times. “And before I literally could even figure out where to escape or where to look, he ejaculated.”
Munn immediately recounted the incident to her sister and tried to pursue legal action but was dissuaded by an attorney.
She also said the reaction of the man who had asked her to deliver the food wasn’t shock or surprise.
“It was just, ‘Ugh, sorry about that,’ ” Munn, 37, recalled. The “XMen” star wrote about a similar encounter in her 2010 book, “Suck It, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek,” but withheld names.
It came to light that she was referring to Ratner, 47, after he identified himself as her subject during an appearance on “Attack of the Show” — which Munn previously hosted.
Henstridge, 43, said Ratner masturbated in front of her and made her perform oral sex on him in the 1990s in his Manhattan home.
“I had a powerful lawyer absolutely warn me it was probably not a good idea, but ... it doesn’t go away,” Henstridge told the Daily News Wednesday.
“You recognize the need to expose these people who you fear may be doing the same thing to other women.”
Newman, 39, said he “graphically” described performing oral sex on her and Towne, 39, said she fended off “unwanted advances.”
Ratner, who has been romantically linked to Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, Lindsay Lohan and Serena Williams, vehemently denied the accounts through his attorney Martin Singer. “I have represented Mr. Ratner for two decades, and no woman has ever made a claim against him for sexual misconduct or sexual harassment,” Singer told The Times. Late Wednesday, Ratner said he’s stepping away from Warner Bros. projects amid the allegations. “I don’t want to have any possible negative impact to the studio until these personal issues are resolved,” he said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. Earlier in the day, Warner Bros., which partners with Ratner’s company, Rat Pac, said it is “reviewing” the allegations. Ratner has also reportedly filed a defamation lawsuit against another woman, Melanie Kohler, who said he raped her 12 years ago, TMZ reported. Playboy Enterprises announced it is putting Ratner’s upcoming Hugh Hefner biopic on hold following the allegations.
