BENGALS at JAGS

-

1 p.m. Jaguars by 5, 39½

HANK’S HONEYS: Adding Marcell Darius to front seven was more to shore up the Jags’ poor run defense but it adds to an already big matchup advantage for Saxonville. Last week against pedestrian Colts pass rush, Andy Dalton was sacked three times, hurried eight and hit six. Cincy must keep its QB out of third and long situations but Bengals run game is also a weak spot. When Dalton does pass, A.J. Green has tendency to disappear at times and elite CB Jalen Ramsey could make sure of it. Same formula holds on Jaguars’ side of ball. Cincy pass defense matches up very well against Blake Bortles. Difference is that Leonard Fournette, who returns, is capable of pounding it. IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Jaguars and the over.
