GOLDEN STATE Warriors superstar Stephen Curry thinks it’s strange he was named in an explainer put out by Republicans to push their tax bill, but he’s not crying foul.

“It was weird, that’s about it,” Curry said following Golden State’s 112-92 win over San Antonio on Thursday. “There’s a lot of people wondering why I was called out, whatever the case may be, but mama, I made it.”

The two-time NBA MVP is mentioned in a section of the House GOP’s simplified breakdown of the 400-page plan that’s meant to explain the proposed closing of a tax loophole that benefits the wealthy.

“Our legislation will ensure this much-needed tax relief goes to the local job creators it’s designed to help by distinguishing between the individual wage income of NBA All-Star Stephen Curry and the pass-through business income of Steve’s Bike Shop,” the sheet says.

The reference went viral as rumor spread that GOP mentioned Curry (pictured) in the actual bill. Curry learned about it Thursday and had a question.

“I wonder if Steve’s Bike Shop is hiring,” he tweeted.

Explained House Ways and Means Committee spokeswoman Emily Schillinger:“We regularly reference famous people to help clearly communicate how we are proposing to separate wage income from small business income. Our messaging has previously mentioned Bill Gates, Tom Brady and Michael Jordan, among others,” she added.
