Bust in odd pot peddler gun slay

- Thomas Tracy

POLICE HAVE arrested one of the robbers who sparked a bizarre Washington Heights shooting in which a pot dealer’s bodyguard accidentally killed his boss, cops said Saturday.

Jason Castillo, 25, is facing robbery, weapons possession and drug dealing charges for his role in the Oct. 29 bloodshed. Castillo and his partner met Jose Nunez, 43, and Alex Siraj, 31, at a parking garage on Wadsworth Ave. near W. 178th St. about 10:50 p.m. to supposedly buy marijuana. When Siraj handed over the pot the would-be customers pulled guns, threw the dealers to the ground and pistol-whipped them, according to cops. Castillo and his accomplice were running off with the weed when Nunez’s bodyguard fired, accidentally shooting Nunez in the head.

Cops caught Castillo Friday. They are looking for his pal and the bodyguard, described as Hispanic, between 25 and 33, 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds.
