Thief bags $40G from city salons

A SLICK swindler posed as a customer to steal $40,000 worth of loot from people at salons and stores across the city, cops said Saturday.

The bespectacl­ed thief (inset) has struck nine times in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens since February, grabbing purses, laptops and cash from distracted employees, authoritie­s said.

The woman first stole a bag inside U and Me Nails on Second Ave. on the Upper East Side Feb. 26., cops said.

On June 27, she asked workers at Sang Sang Jewelry on Canal St. in Chinatown to fix an item and snuck a $36,000 tray of jewelry into her tote, police said.

She also grabbed a laptop off a table at Vivi Bubble Tea on Allen St. on the Lower East Side on Oct. 25, authoritie­s said. The crook wears a head wrap and carries a black and red Robin Ruth tote bag, cops said.
