Approval rating hits low of 37%

A MAJORITY of Americans don’t think President Trump has what it takes to occupy the Oval Office, a new poll shows. The commander-in-chief’s approval rating is at a dismal low of 37% as Trump approaches a year since he won the election, the Washington Post/ABC News poll released Sunday found. Trump’s 59% disapproval rating is the lowest at nine months into a presidency than any of his predecessors in 70 years of polling, the results show. On overall job accomplishment, a majority of voters believed Trump has done “not very much” or “little or nothing” since taking office in late January. A mere 35% think he’s getting a great deal done. An overwhelming 70% gave Trump negative reviews on his tackling of both health care and race relations in the U.S. Nearly 60% said they think Trump is trying to make Obamacare fail. Half of voters believe Trump is biased against black people, while 42% say they don’t believe he is. Roughly 65% of voters also don’t think Trump is trustworthy, nor do they think he has the temperament to be President. THE TRUMP Organization has won 70 visas for foreign workers in various positions at Mar-a-Lago.

President Trump has been granted permission from the U.S. Labor Department to hire immigrants to fill vacant maid, cook and server jobs at his Palm Beach, Fla., resort for the winter tourist season.

Despite Trump’s quest to “make America great again” and bring jobs back to the U.S., he has repeatedly sought out H-2B visa holders to fill roles at his resorts.

He reportedly staffed Mar-a-Lago with 64 foreign employees last winter.

During a 2016 Republican presidential debate, he defended his decision to hire outside the U.S.

“Other hotels do the exact same thing,” he said.
