PIZZA TALE OF IVANA EX – CONFIDENTIAL:
WHEN THE MOON hits your eye like a big pizza pie — is that amore? Ivana Trump and her fourth husband, Rossano Rubicondi, have been inseparable over the past week, and now we know what the 45-year-old entrepreneur is up to — pizza! Rubicondi, who married Trump in 2008 before they divorced in 2009, says he’s relocated from Florida to the Big Apple to start a pizzeria called Rossano to Go! And he plans to have a brick-and-mortar shop as well as a pizza truck operating by mid-January. “Rossano to Go! will start in NYC,” Rubicondi told Confidential, when we called to ask why he’d been spotted around town with President Trump’s former wife so much lately. About his personal relationship with the 68-year-old socialite (photo together), he would only say, “Well, you know, we’re family.” Rubicondi boasted earlier this year that he would soon be opening Rossano to Go! 3 miles from the President’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. But that wasn’t to be. “We were going to open on Labor Day, but things happened and I had to get out of the lease,” he vaguely explained.
Rubicondi insists his ex-wife is not involved in the pizzeria. “No, no, no — she’s involved in my life,” he said.
And quite involved, it seems. Rubicondi tells us he and Ivana Trump are flying to Rome together on Nov. 15 to promote her new book “Raising Trump.”
The two were photographed walking down Madison Ave. on Thursday. Then, over the weekend, they were spotted again having a quiet dinner at Amaranth Restaurant on the Upper East Side. They also had lunch together Monday.
At least one friend of Ivana’s wondered if Rubicondi and The Donald’s first wife had something cooking.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re back on,” according to that insider, who attended the pair’s Mar-a-Lago wedding. “Whenever I see her she’s alone — and she’s a lot of fun.”
Ivana and Rubicondi blamed geographical differences for their split. He preferred traveling between Italy and Florida, while her roots are here in New York City.
Trump’s reps didn’t respond to our requests for comment.
