Park Ave. doc faces sex rap
A PARK AVE. anti-aging doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting a patient, authorities said Tuesday.
Eric Braverman (inset) was busted on Halloween on charges of forcible touching and sex abuse for a July 20 incident that was reported three weeks ago.
Braverman, 59, allegedly inserted his fingers inside the patient during a massage in his private office at his PATH Medical practice on Park Avenue South and E. 23rd St.
There was “no legitimate medical purpose” for the conduct, a police source said.
He was released on his own recognizance after his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday.
Braverman was accused of forcing himself on a 28-year-old woman inside a Tribeca luxury high-rise building in January 2016.
That case is now sealed.
His attorney be could reached not immediately for comment.
The physician was arrested for stealing documents from his case file in divorce court in January 2014.
A clerk caught Braverman “red-handed” taking off-limits psychiatric reports from Manhattan Supreme Court with his attorney pal Diana Mohyi, authorities said.
The move ignored an order from the judge overseeing his divorce case, the Daily News reported at the time.
He was charged with criminal contempt, attempted grand larceny and tampering with public records.
Braverman, author of 2010’s “Younger (Sexier) You: Look and Feel 15 Years Younger by Having the Best Sex of Your Life,” is a proponent of alternative treatments.
