Don: China, help us zap Kim nukes

PRESIDENT TRUMP called on China to talk North Korea out of its nuclear dreams.

Speaking to Chinese business leaders Wednesday as part of his 12-day tour of Asia, Trump said he and President Xi Jinping are “very, very much on the same plane when it comes to security.”

Trump’s just hoping he and his Chinese counterpart are also on the same wavelength about the North Korean “nuclear menace.”

The appeal is another salvo in Trump’s tough talk to halt North Korea’s nuclear plans.

“I know one thing about your president, if he works on it hard, it will happen,” Trump said.

He heard polite chuckles in the crowd. “They know,” he added.

The United States and the “coalition of responsible nations” needed to act fast to avoid a “potentially very tragic situation,” he said.

The President is being treated like royalty during his visit to China, including a rare dinner inside the country’s famed imperial palace.

He was greeted by a small army of children waving American and Chinese flags.

Trump, who welcomed Xi to his resort Mar-a-Lago earlier this year, said he was had a “great time” after he took in a dance performance.
