STUDENTS AT Brooklyn’s It Takes a Village Academy say they’re rattled by charges that the school leadership failed to act on reports of sexual abuse, several pupils said Thursday.

Bullies at the city high school tried to sexually assault a freshman in the boys’ locker room on Friday — and the school never told cops, police sources said.

No arrests have been made in the case, but Education Department officials yanked Principal Marina Vinitskaya from her job Tuesday amid an investigation of the allegations.

And kids at the well-regarded East Flatbush school are shaken.

“It’s pretty scary to think that something like that could happen,” said It Takes a Village senior Adiasa Bekabantu, 17.

“At the end of the day, we’re kids. We don’t expect something like that to happen,” he added.

The 14-year-old victim told police a group of bullies had been targeting him since the beginning of the school year. On Friday, the tormentors pinned the boy to a wall and tried to stick their fingers into his buttocks, sources said.
