Beltran, 40, isn’t sure what the future holds for him, but says he’ll decide next week whether or not he wants to retire. “I want to talk to my wife, to my kids, let them know what I’m thinking and what they think,” he said.
Beltran, who was also a Met from 2005 to 2011, finally won a World Series ring this month as a Houston Astro. “I only waited 20 years to get to this position, but it’s worth it,” he said.
